Young winners make Apps for Good

Apps for Good is a charity programme where people as young as 12 learn to come up with ideas that solve problems they’re passionate about. For the seven winners of the charity’s 2012 awards, industry professionals will help them to create apps that will be available on the commercial market. Julian Blake went to the Barbican Centre in London to talk to them. Their stories – and their thinking – demonstrate that creating an app is about so much more than child’s play.
